This poster was issued by the Red Cross in 1918. It includes all the elements of persuasion to help with the Red Cross' contribution to the war effort. The young woman wrapped in the U.S. flag earnestly quoting President Woodrow Wilson with the U.S. Capitol in the background make the appeal irresistible.
