US Marine Corps Logistics Vehicle System Replacement (LVSR) Tractor
The TRUCK TRACTOR, 10X10, LOGISTICS VEHICLE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT (LVSR), MKR16 is the tractor (fifth wheel) variant of the US Marine Corps LVSR heavy truck.
the LVSR 5th Wheel or Tractor variant tows heavy engineer equipment and combat vehicles with the M870A2 40 ton Medium Heavy Equipment Trailer (MHET). The first LVSR tractors are expected to be in-service by 2011.

The MKR16 tractor is a 10x10 truck designed for use on improved roads, highways, and cross-country terrain. The tractor is capable of towing the M870 series semi-trailers over improved gravel roads with a 100,000 lbs. payload on the trailer. The tractor is equipped with a 60,000 lbs. self-recovery winch to winch equipment onto the trailer. The LVSR tractor will replace the LVS MK48/16 and corresponding A1 models.
