Military History is the subject of a number of fine magazines, with well written articles and hard to find photos in every issue.

Be sure to check the archives of the Military Organizations listed in that section of Olive-Drab. Many of these web sites contain photos and historical information particular to that organization or unit.

BBC History Magazine, Britain's best-selling history title
The Great War, is a 68 page magazine, published bi-monthly in the UK, on all aspects of World War I. Features personal stories and experiences and local history aspects often overlooked by other larger publications. Home Front, Pals and Service soldiers and battalions, animals, women, grandfathers' and grandmothers' stories, etc.
Military Magazine is a monthly history publication written by the men and women who were there; in essence an oral account in print in the words of those who served. Unlike most military history chronicles, Military encourages the subscribers to become involved in what is published.
