M75 Armored Personnel Carrier. Serial number 543, U.S. Army registration number 40229174. Built by International Harvester Company, circa late 1951 or early 1952. This vehicle was Lot 1012 of The Jacques M. Littlefield Collection, Military Vehicle Technology Foundation, Portola Valley, CA, auctioned 11-12 July 2014 by Auctions America. Truck, Utility, Shelter Carrier, M1037 HMMWV.  The M1037 is the shelter carrier model of the M998 series of 1-1/4 ton HMMWV trucks. The M1037 is used to transport the S250 shelter and enclosed equipment on all classes of road and cross-country and in all weather conditions. It is equipped with tie-downs to secure the S250 electrical equipment shelter. The M1037 chassis, mechanical components and general performance are the same as other models of the M998 series.
