Truck, Utility, Shelter Carrier, M1037 HMMWV. The M1037 is the shelter carrier model of the M998 series of 1-1/4 ton HMMWV trucks. The M1037 is used to transport the S250 shelter and enclosed equipment on all classes of road and cross-country and in all weather conditions. It is equipped with tie-downs to secure the S250 electrical equipment shelter. The M1037 chassis, mechanical components and general performance are the same as other models of the M998 series.
