These pages of Olive-Drab.com list some of the many local groups, MVPA chapters and others, that are made up of military vehicle collectors and enthusiasts. This hobby is worldwide and growing as more and more people come to value the preservation and enjoyment of jeeps, trucks and other historic military vehicles.

Military Vehicle Organizations

The Military Vehicle Preservation Association is the primary, worldwide organization for military vehicle preservation, restoration, and personal interest. Join and support MVPA! They have many affiliated chapters in the US and other parts of the world, listed in this section of Olive-Drab.com or which can be found via the MVPA website. Your membership also includes subscription to their publications which are vital for learning and keeping up with the world of military vehicles. Through the MVPA, individuals and clubs organize and participate in events such as the 60th anniversary of D-Day pictured above.

If you are new to military vehicles, one of the best things you can do is to find the group in your local area and start to participate. You can get advice and practical experience that cannot be obtained any other way, gain access to parts, tools, manuals and other necessities, plus have a lot of fun with great people. When you are ready to buy your first vehicle, you will have experienced hands to guide you every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Reenactment Living History Groups

The Olive-Drab.com Military History Reenactment page has links to groups which re-enact historical battles and campaigns. Many of these groups welcome participation by military vehicles of the appropriate, authentic period.
