Designed specifically for all-day use with cranial-style helmets, the ESS Flight Deck™ is authorized by the U.S. Navy for use on flight decks and is standard issue for the Australian Navy. The patented Speed-Clip™ strap system makes strap adjustment quick and easy. Kit includes two high-impact lenses: Clear and Smoke Gray. Roomy frame is designed to fit over most eyeglasses; Striker™ Rx Insert also available. ESS Flight Deck Goggles provide excellent ballistic protection, but does not provide eye protection from laser hazards. If a mission requires laser eye protection, the soldier must wear the Sun-Wind-Dust Goggles (SWDG), Ballistic-Laser Protective Spectacles (B-LPS), or Special Protective Eyewear Cylindrical System (SPECS) (with laser lenses).
