The Wiley X PT-1 spectacle is a commercially available interchangeable, single shield design for eye protection. Lens meets and exceeds ANSI Z87.1-2003, ANS Z80.3 safety / optical standards. Lens provides U.V. protection. The PT-1 does not have designated sizes, as one size fits all. Lens has scratch resistant coatings for longer life. Lens can be interchanged based on time of day and environment. Frame provides a 90-degree wrap-back, eliminating tunnel vision. Clear, non-slip rubber nosepiece is adjustable. Neoprene rubber temple tips grip head and hold frame firmly balanced. Includes 2 sets, shatterproof polycarbonate lenses (smoke green, clear). Micro Fiber case is included for cleaning and storage. One size fits all.

Wiley-X PT-1 Spectacle provides excellent ballistic protection, but does not provide eye protection from laser hazards. If a mission requires laser eye protection, the soldier must wear the Sun-Wind-Dust Goggles (SWDG), Ballistic-Laser Protective Spectacles (B-LPS), or Special Protective Eyewear Cylindrical System (SPECS) (with laser lenses).
