This poster was produced in 1945 to stimulate purchases of War Bonds by members of the armed forces, especially the U.S. Army. It uses the very popular Al Capp cartoon characters Daisy Mae and Mammy Yokum in their familiar Dogpatch to tell the story.

The small print at the center bottom says "United States Army War Bond Poster".
