In this photo taken on 20 April 1997, a Tube Launched, Optically Tracked, Wire-guided (TOW) missile can be seen coming out of its launcher mounted on a U.S. Marine Corps HMMWV (High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA.

This action took place during Marine Air Ground Task Force Combined Arms Exercise 5-97. These Marines are from the TOW platoon, Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment.
