This U.S. Defense Department photo is a very crisp image of an M-9 Beretta 9mm Pistol with U.S. military markings.

The markings read: "U.S. 9mm M9-P.Beretta-65490" followed by PB in a circle. The serial number is 1125713. The Beretta crest on the grip is also clearly visible, also marked with the crest symbols and P.Beretta.
