This photo shows Fifth Army jeep vehicles crossing a rain swollen stream in the Volterra Sector, Italy, 9 July 1944. A few minutes before the rain, the stream was only a few inches deep.

This photo is displayed on the page of photos of the Truck, 1/4 Ton, 4x4 (Willys MB, Ford GPW) WW II Army Jeep. The U.S. Army Signal Corps logo is on the bottom left of the image. The bumber markings of the jeep have been censored, a common practice during WW II.
