V41 3/4 ton 4x4 Telephone Maintenance Truck (G-741)

The V41 Telephone Maintenance Truck is a member of the M-37 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 Truck Family (G-741) and most specifications are the same as the M-37 cargo truck. However, the V41 wheelbase is 126 inches, same as the M43 ambulance. The full table of specifications is on the M37 Manuals page.

The full nomenclature of this truck was originally: Telephone Installation Light Maintenance and Cable Splicing Truck V-41()/GT. By 1960 it was known as: Truck, Maintenance: 3/4-Ton, 4x4, M201 and M201B1 (Used for Signal Corps Model V41/GT). Both models were equipped with the front-mounted Braden LU4 PTO winch with 7,500 lb capacity and a spotlight mounted outside the driver's position..
