WC-11 WC-19 WC-42 Truck, 1/2 ton, 4x4 Dodge Panel Delivery (G505)The Dodge WC-11 and the very similar WC-19 and WC-42, are 1/2 ton panel body trucks with slightly different engines and other small differences. They look like the G505 Carryall body trucks, but without the side windows. All are part of the WC model series G-505, built by Dodge during 1941 or early 1942. The WC-42 was designated a Panel Radio truck, for transporting Signal Corps equipment. It was equipped with a winch and was powered by the Dodge T215 engine. The WC-11 had the T207 engine while the WC-19 had the T211 engine. If you don't have the vehicle dataplate, to differentiate you must know the U.S. Government registration number (Army number on the hood) or the serial number which can be found stamped on the left front frame.
Data from SNL G-657 Dodge Master Parts List. Other data on the Dodge G505 main page. SNL G-657 does not list WC-11 vehicles with registration numbers W-222xxx but several photos exist showing these trucks (below and Doyle ).
