European MV Organizations

Europe is the location of many organizations formed by people interested in military vehicles. U.S. vehicles are still favored by many, especially vehicles from the U.S. forces who operated in Europe during World War II. British and other Allied vehicles are also common and popular, while German vehicles are relatively scarce.

Military Vehicle Organizations in Belgium

Authentic Fighting Veterans Museum vzw (in short: AFV) is a Belgian non-profit organization grouping owners and enthusiasts of military vehicles. Founded in 1987 as a small group of hobbyists, it has now grown to a club with over 150 members and over 500 restored military vehicles ranging from parabikes to Sherman tanks.

Belgian Military Vehicle Trust is a non profit organization dedicated to the collection, preservation and restoration of military old timers built before 1946.

The Patton Army Vehicle Association restores vehicles used during the Second World War liberation of France. Specialized in armoured military vehicules, all the restoration worked is carried out by our association members who strive for authenticity. HMK, PO Box 551, N-3601 KONGSBERG, Norway. This is the largest MV club in Norway, have regular meets and local group meetings, travel also in Europe to meets,have a quarterly magazine in colour in Norwegian but with an English language introduction and picture captions.
